The Prince’s Trust Team Programme is a 12 week programme, designed for young people aged 16-25 to improve their confidence and self-esteem, learn new skills, and make new friends. This is organised through a range of outdoor and community activities as well as work experience.
Participants come to The Great Escape for the second week of the Team Programme, known as Residential Week. They spend the time experiencing everything the Estate has to offer, from orienteering round the 120 acres and beyond, climbing activities, traversing across the high gorge, rafting, to participating in the numerous team building activities. After dark, they enjoy night walks and further challenges under the undiluted light of the stars.
Whilst they are with us, they enhance their communication skills, learn to live and work together, cook for each other and, most of all, put their trust in each other.
