Founded in 1890 in St. Louis, Missouri, as a manufacturer of electric motors and fans, Emerson has grown from a regional manufacturer into a global technology solutions powerhouse.

What was the objective of your Great Escape event?
The first time we used TGEC was for an international development program for 17 of our top future talent from across the globe. We wanted to create a team environment, allow natural leadership skills to be developed and build self-awareness. The event delivered all this and more. From the participant feedback of the 12 day program, The Great Escape challenge was ranked No. 1 of all the sessions we did. It was also enormous fun!

What was the outcome of the event?
Such a success in fact that we went on to use TGEC for other management and team leader training sessions. All of which provided a good ROI in terms of the skills development and team building we got out of the experience.

How would you sum up the experience?
The Great Escape has become a key element of our international management development programme. The flexibility and planning of Mark, Alex and the team have meant we have had a tailored service to suit our needs and audience on every occasion. I would thoroughly recommend them, the fact everyone has such good fun (even the sceptics) is a bonus.
